Rubie a young and beautiful girl, her beauty was always defined by her hair as she had a pretty long and silky hair. Beauty apart she was a gregarious girl, always surrounded by charming people. Everyone adored her beauty and the way she gets along with people. In her college and in the locality she was considered as Rapunzel.
One day she happened to meet her friend Roseline. Roseline dressed up casually, at one instance Rubie had noticed that her friend's beauty got detoriated since the last time she met her and looking at the bald head she thought to her self that there is a limit for fashion as she had seen models going bald these days, but Rubie didn't bother to ask her about it as she thought that it was not her business.
Both greeted each other informally and started their conversations by sipping the coffee. Rubie had told all about her past and present situations and how she combated her bipolar disorder. Roseline too narrated her about her past relationships and confessed that she is ailing from a deadly disease.
After hearing all this from Roseline, Rubie was taken aback and couldn't hold her tears. And she thought how wrong she was in judging her friend whom she knew since a long time. Then Rubie decided that she would contribute something to her friend, though Roseline didn't want to.
They headed into a saloon, after everything was done, they bid farewell to eachother. Now Rubie was going back to her home, as she was walking across the lane, she could see people staring at her and few were surprised to see her and other few shouted tantrums and mocked her. But to Rubie nothing mattered.
She headed into her home, as expected everyone started shouting her but none of them asked her WHY? Maybe they too thought that it was an emerging trend. Rubie locked herself in her room and sat on a relax chair thinking about Roseline.
After sometime she could hear someone knocking at the door, she opened it, it was her mom. Her mom entered in and asked her softly, Why? Why did you come bald? Why did you shave your head?. Rubie was pleased by her mother's concern, and answered her saying that Roseline was actually ailing from a dreadful cancer and was combating with her life, and lost her hair due to the chemotherapy, and said that she had donated her hair for her friend, and thought that it was the best decision of a life time. Rubie's mother was indeed happy for her daughter. However, after some months Rubie got back her hair, but now her hair was till her shoulders yet Rubie looked trendy and loved it.

There are many people in the world who are aliling from cancer but there are very few people who are actually contributing something for them. Rubie was one among them and so are few others.
Thought the whole narration is a fiction but it's the story of those concerned girls who made their best decisions for their life time.
