Varanya!
Introduction (1).
Varanya , Wake up!!! You are a terrible brat to handle! Your father left a holy shit upon earth for me to handle. You better be up now and get on to your work for the simple reason I and Samiksha will be going on shopping and we will be having a busy day. " scolded Amisha, as she dragged away the coversheet from Varanya 's pretty face in a roughly way.
Varanya somehow managed to keep balance to herself after that heavy jerk she got. She woke up to sit straight and rubbed her eyes. She yawned and stretched her arms. She opened her beautiful eyes with ocean blue pupil to glance a look at her mother who was taking dress out of her almirah. She said, "Good morning mom! What are you doing? You need not! I will make out for me myself and I will leave the house in its perfect orientation . I won't be late for school. "
Her mother turned back and frowned at her, she said, " What? Why should I do anything for you? I am taking these dresses for Samiksha, she will be going out with me today. You better go to school and get all the notes given to her, when you come back home copy them for her. She may get tired when we return. And also be in time I don't want any complain from teachers at your School. " She left the room without paying heed to what Varanya said.
A tear rolled from her cheeks when she looked at her father's photograph placed next to her bed on the table. She hugged the frame tightly and said, " Good morning Dad! ". She left the bed and went to the store room. She took up the broom and duster . She looked at the clock, it read 5:00 sharp. She sighed. She went to the terrace of her single storey house . She washed it. She turned round to find a clean floor and patches of water which reflected the sunlight of rising sun. Her face shined like a fresh flower. She gave the sun a vibrant smile. She bowed her head with her eyes closed, as in an Indian way to show respect to sun lord.
She got down and continued with her chores and finally went to her room at 7. She smiled at the clock , she went to her closet and picked up her school dress. Then she went to bath and as she got out in a silk bathrobe that covered the hourglass figure of her body. She changed to her school dress and tied her black cascade in a high pony tail.
She looked into the mirror and began admiring herself. She maintained a good glare at herself and began crying bitterly. So bitterly that it could be heard in the next room. She looked at the bruise that was just above her eyes on her forehead at the corner. In no time when she was crying a soothing hand moved over Varanya 's bruise. She stopped crying and looked up to find his youngest brother , Sanidhya. He had the ocean blue eyes identical to that of her. He was just three years old and was the only member in the family who loved and cared for Varanya. She smiled and said, " Good morning, Sanu!!! ". He smiled back and said, " By (why) ale(are) you tarying (crying) Valu (Varu)?? Does it hurt too much?! phuuu is it otay ( okay) ?? " Varanya smiled at her innocent face and said, " Hehehe!! I got completely fine. My boy made it . I love you sanu. " Sanidhya smiled and hugged her with his small hands. " Will you be alone today? " she asked him making him comfortable on her lap. He nodded in no and kissed Varanya. She asked , "Then ? Who will be with you? ". He quickly replied in utmost Innocence he had, " my Douglas buffin (muffin),Maniesa(Man-inshia) hollo(Hulllo: his bear.). "
I looked at him with pleading eyes and he looked just so perfect that compelled me to kiss his cheeks twice.
