THE DANGER OF TV ENTERTAINMENT

1 John 2: 15-17:
KEY VERSE: Psalm 101:3 "I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn
aside; it shall not cleave to me.."
Worldly entertainment and sports are calculated to entertain the carnal heart, the heart that derive
pleasure in sin.
The modern film industry and television have become the greatest perpetrators of sinful
and criminal tendencies in children and older people.
The television has flooded the world with a tide
iniquity and evil.
Worldly magazines and comic books exert evil influence on the mind too.
Entertainment and Movies: Through the TV, people watch so many ungodly and unprofitable
programs that draws the soul away from God, programs of masquerades, carnivals, native doctors, idol
worship, occult films, erotic films, beer and cigarette adverts, arm robberies, wickedness, murderers,
killers, horrors, satanic manipulations, different forms of worldly fashion shows and violence, comedies.
Television Programs like Maltina Dance, Project fame, Nigerian idol, talent hunt shows,
brother Africa, Nollywood movies, comedy shows etc are vanities planned to occupy Christians and take
their hearts far away from God.
So many Christians will not ordinarily go out to attend these programs
but the world today has brought it to their houses for them to attend, and so many are deceived and have
fallen prey to it.
Ephesians 5:11 "Have no fellowship with the *unfruitful works of darkness,* but rather reprove them"
Rachael Mushala, from Zambia, in Southern Africa had an encounter with Jesus Christ as follows:
Lord Jesus told us that television is one of Satan's biggest baits to trap people to hell.
The Lord said,
Those programs shown on TV are not meant to entertain you, but to take you to hell. Many are in hell
because of TV.
Many movies are written by satan and acted by his agents, just to trap people to hell.
It breaks My heart to see how humanity falls for it. Do not watch secular TV. It will take you to hell.
He said, It is satan's bait to lead you to sin, to destroy your soul.
You will hardly escape hell if you enjoy watching corrupted home video and TV.
1 Peter 2:11
When vour soul is polluted by the devil through the entertainment industry, you will become a
slave of Satan. Psam119:37
The corrupt movies you watch, corrupts your mind with sin virus that makes you subject to
Satan.1Thess. 5:22
Through the entertainment industry the devil introduces hell bound life styles, languages,
fashions.
The devil uses those who wants to make money at the expense of their soul and those
who have sold their soul to the devil to execute these hellish projects.

The things you see and hear by watching home videos influence you positively or negatively.

Watching home video can make you think corruptibly. The bible says "as a man thinketh so is he"

In watching or listening to entertainment films or music (home video or musical films) there is
a transaction and exchange or transter of ideas and spirit
