You are falling in love with your friend. What should you do? Write a story...
Is there a problem? It seems you have fallen in love with a friend. That happens to many people. Of course, they are not romantically engaged, but I want to guess that many people would love their friends.
The situation changes slightly if they're romantically involved.
The first step is to determine if they share the same opinion. In any case, you still should let them know you love them. While it may not always be easy or pleasant to stay friends, they'll hopefully appreciate knowing a close friend loves them. You can't always expect things to turn out the way you want, but what's wrong with hoping?
Nevertheless, if they are also in love with you, you should find out what would happen if you dated and then broke up. Could your friendship be destroyed? How would you feel about each other in the future? You should then consider the importance of this friend to you, and if you are still in love with them, but fear that separating could hinder your friendship, you should avoid breaking up. Consider now what would happen if you and your friend were to break up, and you are both certain that your friendship would survive.
