The Past We Left Behind - Chapter 13
On the tiny yacht, Captain Williams and his team of men were in the cabin steering the ship, monitoring Adam's cell phone signal and the yacht's signal with their devices. "Is there any news?" Ethan asked him in a worried tone. The captain's gaze met Ethan's briefly, then he directed it into the distance behind Ethan, as well as his finger.
"Look behind." He said in a serious voice and jerked his head forward. When Ethan turned to follow the captain's gaze, he saw a faint glow on the horizon. As they approached, the glow gradually grew brighter and clearer, and soon one could clearly see what it was. Adam's yacht, 'The Serenity'.
