The old man was terribly saddened for not being able to save the magician, but he knew he had a purpose. Which lead him to the temple. The temple was so beautiful, the structure of stone and wood, sat peacefully on the forest floor . The sound of the birds and animals lingered near, as the beautiful flowers and vines cover its stone walls and dragon statues. The old man thought it was the best place to keep the cards hidden. The monk promised the magician that he would protect the deck of black cards. The magician then turned into ashes and floated down the river. The determined monk made it his priority to safe guard the cards with his life and made the other monks aware of its power. He trained the other monks and was ready for the upcoming events. He knew protecting the cards will bring alot of evil people, who was greedy, arrogant and selfish. They had to obtain the magic and power of the cards, for the deck was dangerous in the wrong hands. They stood in a circle, holding each others hands, conducting a magic ritual around deck of cards, underneath a huge jade dragon statue surrounded by water. The monk then placed the deck of cards in a golden box on top of the dragon shaped hand. A bright white light was released from the dragons eyes sealing the box . The dragon was known to be the protector of the mountain. The monks made a promise to keep it hidden from world.

Years have faded in time when another magician was born of the same blood line. Far across the ocean, on the other side of the world, In a beautiful island as the wind peaked in the window, through the white silk curtains laid in bed a man with brown hair, green eyes, smooth skin, fair in complexion with a smile bright as the sun and body as if he popped out from a magazine. The white bed sheets covered him half way and the warmth of the sunlight filled the room. Sleeping next to him, a woman who is the love of his life. She has a pleasant smile as her short brown hair rest on the white pillows, as her grey eyes slightly open, the sunlight made her fair complexion glow and her body was curved to perfection. He opened his eyes slowly and the illumination of the sun awakes his mind and focuses him to get out of bed. He turned to the woman, looked at her with a childlike smile, passionately kissed her lips and puts his arms around her squeezing her into a warm hug as he whispered slowly in her ears "l love you Ally" the woman smiled with her eyes closed and whispered back "I love you too arthur." Arthur got out of the bed, puts on a white t- shirt and went down stairs into the kitchen. He opened the fridge and pulled out a glass mug with freshly squeezed orange juice, then turned to the counter where the glasses were and stretched out to the top shelf to fetch a glass for himself. He slowly puts the glass down to pour the juice. As he was about to pour the juice,he placed the mug on the counter and held the front his head. Arthur began to feel a penetrating pain through his head. He suddenly felt as if he was under water, as if there was a loud beating of a heart. His nose began bleeding. He leaned forward onto the counter knocking over the glass mug that hit the ground and shattered to pieces. Ally was in the bathroom when she heard the loud crash of the mug. She immediately rushed down the stairs only to find Arthur passed out on the floor of the kitchen with broken glass all around him. While Arthur was passed out his mind was in a different place, it was a dark when a sudden burst of flames surrounded a deck of playing cards with blue writing. The diamond cards of the deck formed a certain code of numbers and shapes leaving Arthur confused. The cards flew up to a bright light out in an open wheat field. It was an old memory of Arthur spending time with his parents before their home was engulf with flames in broad daylight. The house lit up and the agony of the moment released an unfamiliar face. The person stood next to Arthur and pointed to the forest and as Arthur looked on a deck of cards surrounded him changing the vision once more, he saw images of the temple and the monks that lived there. All the light faded again as the visions changed when he saw ally in a glass box under water gasping for air. He got emotional and scared he started trying to break the glass. Scared out of his mind Arthur woke up in the hospital with mixed feelings, he had no idea what had just happened. He jumped out of the hospital bed and began shouting out Ally's name. Ally was talking to the doctor about Arthur's health when she saw Arthur scared and worried. She rushed to calm him down, the moment he saw her Arthur hugged her and was relieved to see her. Ally had the look of uncertainty in her eyes as she was worried for Arthur.
