Vampires. I had always assumed they were fictional beings, created by an imaginative mother who had conjured up stories about these creatures of the night to frighten their kids into coming home early. Or maybe had it been a drunk who had had one drink too many and in his drunken daze had seen something and misinterpreted it into something else?Thus, breathing life into vampire folklore?

Whatever the case may be, those mythological creatures were just that. Myths. Creatures that did not exist in our world and only came alive in stories around the campfire right? Boy was I wrong.
