Amelia ran and ran through the darkness trying to find some sort of light or escape. But none was in view.

she felt like she was running in circles over and over again. Droplets of water were forming on her forehead, her heart palpitating uncontrollably and her throat was hellishly dried, as if she had been running a marathon in Sahara dessert for hours without water to keep hydrated.

Heavy footsteps could be heard from behind her. She had this unsettling feeling that it was a man and he meant her harm.

Amelia took a deep breath and started running even faster. But to where, she didn't know. She pressed her hands together and in the midst of it all she tried saying a prayer.

Suddenly, she spotted a small light at the direction she was running to. " Thank God" she whispered as a sense of relief took over.

She was getting closer and closer. she could notice some faint forms, that she could identify as humans. She could still her the foot steps behind her.

As soon as she was about to scream for help. Amelia was yanked and dragged back into the darkness.

"LET ME GO!!" she shouted, kicking.

"SHUT UP!!" this chilling and harsh voice boomed around her.

She closed her eyes as tears oozed out of them. What was going to happen to her?Where was she?

Just before she could even asked, she felt this sharp pain behind her head. She didn't even have time to react as she felt her eyes closed.
