Adventures to Faudia Chapter 2
Flashback Memory:
Trinity stops at the rusty gate, lifting her head towards the ancient estate. She watched for any signs of life that might stir within the mansions grounds. Not seeing anything, Trinity drops her bag to the ground and pulls out some bolt cutters. Quickly, she stashes the bag behind overgrown shrubbery. She then starts to cut the chain link in the metal fence that separated the Guideville estate from the rest of the town. Once she was done, she hid the bolt cutters with the bag, lifted the portion of cut fence. And started to walk quietly to the front door of the mansion. As she's walking she remembers the conversation she had with her grandmother. Conversation, she thinks snickering, more like a argument.
"Trinity, why do insist on going through with this?" her Grandmother asked exasperated.
"I've told you, I have to know what happened to her!" said Trinity.
Her Grandfather, slammed his hand on the kitchen counter.
"We told you what happened, your mother left you!" Her Grandfather shouted angrily.
"I don't believe that!" Trinity stated withe tears in her eyes. "I talked to several people who saw that Mom was last seen going into the Guideville Mansion. And I.."
Her Grandfather interrupted, "Guideville Mansion!" his face paling at the mention of the ancient estate. Looking at her Grandmother who also had an alarmed look upon her face. Trinity watched as her grandfather tried to pull himself together.
"Now listen Trinity, that can be true, there's no way your mother went Guideville Mansion." her grandmother said.
"What are you talking about?" Trinity asked. "I told you, people said they saw her going in there."
" All we have to do is go looking around the estate, find some clues...." Trinity pleaded with grandparents.
"Go looking around the estate!" interrupted her grandfather. "No, no there will be no going over there. That place is off limits." he stated.
"Look, if you won't help me. Then, I'll just do it myself." Trinity said, grabbing her jacket off the chair. She slammed the door on her way out.
"Trinity...." her grandmother cried out. Turning to her husband, "John, do something!" she pleaded
"We can't Margery, we both knew this day was coming." John told her, as he sat down in his Laz-E-Boy chair, exhausted from the discussion.
