We used to have less
I remember my friends asking me
which pizza do you prefer
debonairs or Romans?
I was on the spotlight
never felt so much discomfort in mylife
I knew one wrong move
I would be out

I was so confused
I mean I didn't even know what a pizza looked like
I felt ashamed
because if I had told them I don't know what they were talking about
I would have been a joke
but I knew it was some meal
as for the debonairs and romans part
I thought they were flavours
it took me ages to respond
so I said
I don't even like pizza
but Romans is better
I chose Romans cause it was the easiest name to pronounce at the time
and I knew if I had said Debonairs
pronunciation would have failed me
I was unfamiliar with the word
And they would have seen right through my lies

they all just gagged
One said you probably haven't tried debonairs pizza
it's expensive

for some reason
I was so relieved
