If you could change one thing about your life, what would it be? Write a story on it.
In high school I was ambitious and overzealous. I listened to the wrong people and I didn't follow my own gut instincts and I really should have. They say that hindsight is 2020 and given where I am right now I believe it. The only thing I remember about high school is that stupid tree that they had me plant because I was the recipient of the Eichenlaub Growth Award for Overcoming Obstacles. The other girl they gave it to was able bodied so I know that it wasn't because my legs don't work right but I still believe that was unfair to my buddy Danny because he struggles harder than me daily and I still question why I was chosen over him.
