After college, I worked in Chennai for six years. But when my mom had a heart attack, I had to move back home. That's when my parents started pushing me to get married. I didn't like anyone they showed me, but they kept saying it was urgent because of my mom's health.

Finally, I agreed to marry this guy they found for me. He seemed perfect at first—rich, good-looking, and from a good family. But there were red flags. He was ten years older than me, divorced, and had a bad temper and drinking problem.

As we got closer to the wedding, things got worse. He became controlling and possessive. He made me cut off contact with my friends and threatened to tell my family about my habits if I didn't obey him. He even recorded me without my knowledge.
