Monsters Are Everywhere
You suffer silently as a child, molested by your stepfather until the day he dies toward the end of your fifth grade year. At 11-years-old, you are finally free from his grip, but your childhood was so tainted that you never really had any friends. You were the outcast, that one kid everyone liked to make fun of for being weird and fat.
You finally meet your best friend in sixth grade and hold onto her for dear life. She is the only thing that makes your life seem normal. She gets you into trouble on multiple occasions, but she is always there for you.
Fast forward to the day before you start high school. You and your older brother go to the open house together then stop by his friend's house who lives nearby the school.
You meet him and you instantly think he is cute and sweet. You love his dark hair...
