"Imagine, a boy and a girl"
Imagine a boy and a girl in love. So entangled, it binds their souls together across many lifetimes. The girl, so beautiful and so tender that only his hands could comfort, cradle and care for her because, he knows just where she is vulnerable. He draws her love out of her like Excalibur being freed from stone.

Imagine a season of honey moons and celebration gone so well, it must have come from legend. She feels him, with her soul, in little flashes of remembrance of the lives they traveled together in other flesh.

Imagine, a girl so scared the truth of these things really could not be that she's prepared to end the lives of both of them, if the dream is shaken and its magick becomes broken. She declares death passionately for the entangled lovers, if the boy should ever leave her. But, he never does and he never would.

Imagine, though, that what he treasures and what she treasures are never detailed by two foolish children in love. Those small pieces of reality, 'respect and maturity', never pierce the fantasy. Even as important as they be. Almost as if a simple consecration is forgotten. Two angels having rushed in, just like fools.

Soon, old wounds and worldly influence, time and withdrawal begin to eradicate the pristine dream. Possibility becomes a poison in the wine. Bitter potentials stain the palate and choke them both. Suffocating and angry, they curse with their eyes. They confer with paranoia and begin counting imaginary lies. Altogether, they each become silent and begin to hide inside.

Imagine a boy and a girl in love, so entangled, it one day unravels their souls twine, save for a thread, and splits their very beings in two. One piece, from each, being something new, hostile and defensive. Animalian and arrogant. Resembling, slightly, the old, singular beings -one boy -one girl. But, all that remains of the old, familiar beings is reduced to just the other half left of the shell. Just damaged and unresolved reasonings, corrupted and biased memories and a connection no longer between them, save for a thread.

Imagine lovers, now foes and hopes turned to woes. Two familiars now beings which neither one knows. What is left when love recedes? Two Hearts, once true, are now two hearts that bleed.

Imagine a girl in denial and a boy who stands trial behind a flurry of his tears. His conviction, premeditated. He bears the burden of all. The girl, so tender, remains free of fault. He's guilty for half of everything for which he'll pay. His soul is sentenced to death, save for the thread that remains...
