The parcel that had arrived today, contained an envelope that seem to have waited long before reaching out mailbox.To be assured as to how it came and who sent.I had been tagged as an outcast among my siblings although I made the most of my life.nothing tho could impress them,cause I found a way to outshine them.Mommy before she passed away found a way of uniting us,I never could judge them not only because they were advanced in age but more so we came from different fathers.
I couldn't judge my mom for concieving us from the seed of four different men yet still my father was nowhere to be found.I had to hustle for the betterment of myself one day since I knew the house mom left wasn't an inheritance which I could claim for it's ownership because it wasn't given to my mom by my secret dad.I remember when mom was alive,she'd tell me how I looked exactly like the man who refused to accept me as his legitimate child.I wept uncontrollably as reflected on how I wanted to know his identity.Mom once told me my dad travelled but as to the country he settled in was a difficult clue to verify.
I thought that he had forgotten that he had a son who admired him even though we never met.As I opened the parcel,the envelope contained money and a letter,the salutation dear son,I was taken aback and suprised as it read on how he had missed me and was returning back to take me away.I must admit the parcel contained items which showed that it was really from my dad,some of which was a modern wrist watch,a wrist band which had an inscription "love of a father".
Peserverance really is man's responsibility,but what comes out is up to God.As I longed day and night to reunite with my dad,the long awaited was coming to pass.How proud I felt of hearing from him since my sleepless nights evolved into never-ending excitement
