this is me baring myself.
By now I thought I'd be happier,
prettier,
atleast I'm smarter...
too dull to be easily recognize in the crowd only I'm not dull in class,
I want to make heads turn as I take a sit in the pack,
alot of buzzing but they re only feeling my sparks,
"she's so pretty...skin like wine",
I want to be complimented like that,
I want that,
To be recognize by my beauty from afar,
and my incredible physique from a mile,
No..wait.
That was me from my past,
Until the clouds in my eyes became crystal,
Also...
I switched my shades for glasses,
now I can see better,
I seeee myself,
I'm an incredible little thing,
God really gave me all...i just needed to see it,
it takes little "dress up" to fit in,
The confidence I emit is a wish of many,
l was sinking in self doubt, sometimes ..self hate,
now I look in the mirror and I see what I thought she was'nt,
I've looked for things to fix me,
now I know I'm not
broken,
I look in the mirror again and again,
I see all she is and all she can be,
gorgeous smarty head just doing her thing.
