To say Naomi was surprised by her father confession is an underestimation to how broken she suddenly felt.
She could not believe what she's hearing, an to think her parents would had never think of such horrifying thing to do in the first placed made her question herself about her parents love for her.

Did you two ever even love me, Naomi voiced her thoughts. Were you both just pretending to be a good parent, she asked between tears.

I never thought I would've say this, but I wish you guys weren't my parents, I wish I didn't know you two, better yet Mother, she continue with sadness and bitterness lacing her voice. You should had given me up for an adoption, maybe I would be better off in a foster home , rather than living with two people who pretended to love and care for me. It's sad how you would sold your daughter for money, she said in a low voice, but enough so they could hear her.
And you David... It shocked her father to hear Naomi called him by his right name, she had never done that before.

Every man is suppose to love and protect their daughter, but here you are selling me to a man I don't even know, for money. What's worst is that I'm just sixteen. I did not have a say in this and if I did I would have never agree to this. You two sold me without my consent, without any thinking of how much this will destroy me. I hate you two, I hate you, and I will never forgive you, Naomi said and then ran off to her room.

Her mother had tears in her eyes. She could not believe the words her daughter had used to her, but that didn't hurt more. No it didn't, what broke her is to see her cheerful and happy daughter, turn into a broken person, in just a split minute. The sadness and pain Rose saw in her daughter eyes, she never thought she would ever see.

But there's nothing she could do, she had to follow her husband. David on the other hand did not seem shaken. He was more into getting wealthy.

Has Naomi reached her room she realized all her things were packed, her room was cleaned. Seeing this caused her to broke down more. She could not believe this, she could not believe that the two people's who she loves so much sold her for money. She was torn.

Foot steps were heard coming up the stairs. Has the sound got closer she recognised that it's her dad and Mr. Jack. Let's go Naomi, I am ready to leave. Naomi looked at the man with fear and disgust, she did not want to go. She could not.

No, she said with anger. I am not leaving, I'm not going with you, she said. WHAT, Jack asked with a raise of his right eyebrow. A slight anger is seen in his appearance by Naomi. Look sweetie, her father begin but was cut off by Naomi . Do not sweetie me, you were never my father , from this day on you will no longer be, I hate you, she spat out with anger and pain towards her father.

Jack started to get impatient. He walked closer to Naomi, lifted her up an throw her over his shoulder, while Naomi kicked, and punch his back, he walked off seeming as though Naomi hits weren't hurting him.

Naomi mother heard her daughter crying and screaming , PUT ME DOWN. Rose stood frozen by the door, her expression is one of sadness, but she did not stopped Jack from taken her daughter.
