It's s a year now since we relocated here,now I'm done with secondary school,I'm trying to gain admission into the university to study journalism,never a day goes by without regretting my past; mom is yet to recover from the shock and all want is an escape ticket from here.I feel like my past is hunting me,now I'm 19 although ive tried to abstain from my old ways,but I can't help it if men desires me,I can't wear a jean for a month before it gets tight ,I try to conceal my figure by wearing big cloths but pheew! I swear these men can see from beneathe
I try as much as possible to isolate myself,far away from the jambites in the tutorial I attend but all guys wanna be my friend,I've even succeeded in becoming an enemy to the girls ,then on this particular day a new student came to our centre
at first I didn't care,but I noticed everyone was talking about him then I looked up and before me was a very handsome face; I was so transfixed we held eye contact for a minute before lousy Lydia broke the moment" are u too gonna stare at eachother all day? we've got a class u know,I blushed then looked back at my book" handsome boy there room for more do you mind seating with me? so the moment ended,but I was smart enough to stay away from handsome dudes like him because I knew I didn't want trouble
It was on a Thursday I was just leaving the tutorial when I heard someone shout my name"zairah!zairah! wait up
I couldn't see the person from afar so i kept on walking.
not until when I felt a sturdy hand on my shoulder I screamed and whacked him straight on the face I was getting ready to run when he said"please wait,I never meant to startle you"
I played the voice in my head then I decided this person wasnt going to harm me
so I finally summoned enough courage to see his face,oh my gosh he is so handsome,so I thought
"hi my name is diallo I've been watching you for a while now,I noticed you basically don't talk to anyone; u don't even have a friend,I know ure name you're zairah right?please can I be your friend meanwhile I heard nothing besides can I be your friend? he was so dreamingly handsome and almost immediately I said yes"yes diallo we could be friends and that was the first step on our journey of love.
