She stood in front of him. A tall man who had captured her. She hadn't quite seen enough of him in the dead of night.

'Come into the light', she said to the man. She couldn't see him clearly.

He did as she asked.

No sooner he stepped into the light, she was surprised by what she saw. She was afraid. He was formidable.

But atleast he seemed calm for now!

The mysterious man took her by the hand through some of the most mysterious and awe inspiring corridoors she saw. on it were paintings of cherubs and knights in Armor.

So he took her to one of the inner rooms. When he opened it, she was surprised again.

In it was a comfortable bed, a huge wardrobe and a perky lampshade and she was invited to a scrumptious meal.

He shut the door, and he went on his way.

She opened the window, there was a bird. The bird was singing.

She sighed. She wondered. Things were not as bad as they seemed.
