The Detective's Pursuit

Recap: A detective named Evangeline gets involved in a case. She went there and she meets a woman who is sobbing because her son had gone missing. Evangeline tries to investigate more about but during questioning the woman whose name is Dolores, maid of crimson family, dies.
CHAPTER 3
She went to outside and when the crowd began asking questions she just ignored them and continued to walk into the manor from the cottage sett by the police for their questioning process. Evangeline then went to every corners of the house and searched everywhere.
Suddenly her eyes got stuck at the back of the vehicle she touched so as to feel the texture of the body of the car and asked the police to call Crimson. Constable, Alexander knight said "ma'am Crimson is not here I think he will be arriving soon."
"Then call the maid" Evie (Evangeline) said.
They called the maid who had more experience in that family among all others. Evie asked her "any accident occurred which made severe injury to the car."
The maid started by apologizing "Ma'am I am doing job here for about 10 yrs but the car was bought at the time of Crimson's father and this hadn't been driving after the death of his father."
"How his father died" Evie asked.
"I don't know when someone asks about his father or his death he gets angry and never wanted to talk about it. I you shall ask him directly he will be arriving tomorrow morning due to the incident that had happened he is in hurry" The maid said.
Evie arranged police officials to stand near the place and said "don't allow anyone to get inside or out if they want anything you can take it by letting her under someone's supervision otherwise go with her whereever she goes." She then said goodbye to the inspector.
She then took the key of her Dodge from her trench coat and opened the door with her head high and glancing sharply at the manor.
She drove the car as fast as she can to reach the home and change her cloth. Her smartphone began to ring she stopped the car to a side and attended the call. It was Ethan Devlin the call had hung up with a message 'don't forget today is the day we planned to go for an outing.' She replied to Ethan that she had met with a serious case and she is returning to home for changing her clothes and they can meet at the Tranquil Waterside Haven.
She hurried to the home took a bath then wore a red gown that touched the ground a thin necklace gifted by Ethan at her birthday and heels.
She drove to the Tranquil Waterside Haven. While driving she looked at the mobile to see his reply. He devoted to come on time as they planned at 5:00 pm. She peeked her wrist watch and the hands sowed the time as 4:50 pm. Then she drove fast and reached the place after that she got out of her car and saw Ethan sitting beside a bench near to the waterside. He was very happy until seeing a car came nearer to Evie. A man with covered face gets out of the car and closes the mouth and nose with a towel in his hand. Evie went unconscious and the man entered into the car as soon as possible before Ethan could react.
