the world we live in
Buying-
To acquire the possession of, or the right to, the use or services of just about anything, by paying or promising to pay an equivalent, especially Money.
The desire to possess this or that, begins right from young childhood. To be in possession, to be the rightful owner of anything as a child, even without knowing/ wanting to know what it'll cost whoever we want to get it for us. Not understanding the value of what money is, children go ahead to whine and cry, throwing tantrums to get whatever they need. All we're concerned about at this stage is getting what we want. They point to objects that look attractive to them, pestering their guardians, sometimes it works and most times it doesn't (and note that there are others who don't need to whine or throw tantrums, all they need do is point!)
Now, the young child, some years later, a little bit older (still a young child though) now knows what Money is (a little bit). It is that piece of paper that can get you whatever you want as long as you have it (interesting yeah?); mind you they don't know it's worth yet. They see a biscuit, they want it, they go for it. No decision making; no holding back; it has to be theirs. Here the parents has deemed such young child worthy of being in possession of Money (little as it may be). Visitors come visiting and hand money to them and they're all but glad. You see at this stage, even the smallest of currency can light us up so bright! ... what do we know...
