The waitress' eyes grew wide at the crumpled paper the woman had handed with the money.
"Help," it read.
When she looked up, the woman was gone. The woman was out of her sight completely. She was left shocked after the shocking incident. But, somehow she managed to collect the suspicious paper from the floor. Before the investigators entered the restaurant, she secured the paper in her sleeves. The restaurant staffs were enquired and the place was sealed till further investigation.
She went to home with a perplexed mind , closed all the doors and windows and focussed entirely on the paper. She concentrated on the "Help" word. After an hour of deep thinking, she concluded that it was written with ashes. She grew more suspicious and as she rubbed over the alphabets, she discovered a contact number within the ashes. She recalled her strength to dial the same in her keypad. A very rough voice came from the other hand.
She said "Why you took her life" ? And the reply shocked her once again as the other end spoke "The lady had stolen the only diamond from my life -my daughter ".
