Both Gillian and Robert had an early start as they had to travel a long way by car.
She asked him isn't there any other transport besides the car.
Robert answered what I came to know from my sources is that Oakland
is somewhat like the wild west , Texas
in the United States.
Gillian said : well! I didn't know that I have heard so much about the wild west, Texas, but I never got a chance to go over there.
Gillian, became excited and said "oakland" here we come.
Even Robert said " here we come".
Both of them sat in the car but before heading towards the said place they stopped at a small essential store to buy some supplies.
such as:water,medicine, some food , a rope, a knife , a small bar of soap and other things.
After they gathered the supplies they left the store.
Gillian, was a little tensed but she tried to divert her mind by looking outside the window and OBSERVING the changing colours of nature.
After driving about a mile Robert stopped his car at a small lodge to stay for the night.
They entered the lodge and looked around for someone who could help them.
After sometime an old woman came to the reception and asked them how she can help.
Robert said: Madam, we wish to book two single rooms with bed and breakfast as we will leave early morning tomorrow .
The old woman wore her glasses and took a closer look at both Robert and Gillian.
then she thoughtfully answered : " never seen you here about" it seems you don't stay here.
Robert said: Yes! we are not from here we both are adventure travellers.
The lady said hope you have a great time, here are the keys to your rooms thake are next to each other, go to your rooms while I ask mg maid to prepare something for you,
And I will be sending two blankets to your respective roo.s as it gets really cold in here at night.
Robert and Gillian both thanked the lady and went to their respective rooms.
