Mysterious girl
I'm Nalson, and I'm 21 years old. I used to study in the technology field, and I am familiar with the game of technology, but I also enjoy reading.
I own a secondhand bookstore. People nowadays are more interested in technology, but there are some people, such as myself, who are interested in technology but also have a strong attachment to books.
I'm a bookworm. I used to speak less. I enjoy reading storybooks.
I never imagined falling in love with a girl. I used to believe that my books were my one and only passion. But then a girl came into my life and changed everything.
She is breathtakingly beautiful. When she walks into my shop, I give her my undivided attention. I wanted to talk to her, but she was deafeningly quiet. I never saw her with a happy expression on her face. She entered the store, selected a book, paid, and then exited.
I wanted to talk to her but she didn't even notice me.
I was doing my work one day. It's almost time to shut down the store. She came to me at that time.
"Let me in, don't close it." She stated,
"Why? Is there still anything in the shop? "I inquired.
"No, just open it," she yelled angrily.
I opened the store.
She rushes in and begins looking for the book.
"Hey, what are you up to? Relax, you're causing havoc in my books "I said this as I came to a halt in front of her
" Help me find that book,"she begged, her eyes welling up with tears.
I was like, "Why is she crying over a book?"
Please help me, "she stated. "
"It's a brown cover book. Do you recall the first book I purchased from your store?" She aksed
Of course, "I stated"
"Please look it up for me," she said in a requestive tone.
"OK, I'll help you in locating that book. "I said"
We both start looking for the book.
"Hey, I found it," I said.
"I saw a bright smile on her face when I said I found that book."
I've never seen her smile.
Her expression changed as I was about to open that book.
"Don't.., don't open it."She rushed up to me and snatched the book from my grasp.
Her smile had vanished.
"Thank you for assisting me," she said as she exited the shop.
I'm curious about what in that book made her smile because it was the first time I saw her smile, and I'm also curious about why her smile suddenly vanished.
