The secrets of the basement!

I remember working at a restaurant for about 2 years, and we later began to hear stuff that doesn’t relatively had greatness.
Here’s the layout of the cafe to make it simpler to infer the things occurring. We had two floors, the central floor and the cellar. The main floor has two locations, a pizzas preparation area in the beginning and a kitchen at the back. Following to the kitchen is a restroom and next to the bathroom is a step, directing to the basement. In the basement, there’s a changing compartment and right next to the compartment is the proprietor's studio, and a few feet down is a huge walk-in fridge that’s permanently shut.
It was a rainy day, my colleague, Ramesh arrived at work and went directly to the restroom. While he was there he listened to a loud thump from the bathroom gate. He was stunned for a moment, he guessed it must be another colleague who came in, but when we reached down to change, no one was there. A couple of weeks departed, Ramesh was alone at night, he was busy with the closing of the restaurant and cashiering, suddenly he listened to a loud outcry coming from the fridge. When he strolled to the front, he saw that a bowl of flour was fallen on the floor, he got scared as no one was present there. The following day Ramesh and I were discussing what happened last night then unexpectedly a photo frame next to me knocked down from the fence, it was a terrible vision. Next Sunday night (an hour after we closed), I was listening to my favourite song while cleaning the area. Suddenly the music stopped and I heard wild laughter from behind. I swivelled over terrified but couldn't find anyone there. I turned over again and began to work. Within a moment, I listened to the same laughter coming from the stairs leading to the basement. The incident terrified me and I ran out towards my cottage. The very next day I grabbed Ramesh and told him about my experience of last night, he calmed me and assured that it might be my illusions.
It was 10 in the evening, it was an extremely active day too. I realised that I forgot to call my mother, I took my phone and walked towards the basement away from the noise of the crowd. I listened to a growl behind me, I quickly turned around and saw no one was there. I was scared and the best thing to do was to run, I went up and nervously asked Ramesh if he heard that growl as well and he mumbled," no".
It was again a Sunday evening, I was almost done with my work and was about to lock the deep fridge and leave for the day. The moment I reached near the fridge I heard a strange noise from inside. The fridge was made of metal and was quite heavy thus the noise was audible and also was evidently striking. I got afraid and ran back to my home even without closing it. My other colleague, Amisha frequently used to go down into the changing room during her breaks to nap. She, as usual, went to the bunker and overheard footsteps, walking towards her but for her panic, nobody was there. Amisha got scared and ran back to the restaurant and told her experience to everyone. Next day our delivery man, Shyam heard some noise from the metallic gate leading to a vacant dark cabin where we used to stock cleaning supplies and festive adornments. He went inside the cabin and returned back within a few minutes, he appeared a bit weird and he was bleeding from the scars on his wrists. We asked him about the scars but he refused considerably and departed to his home telling that he was feeling sick. Next day was my week off, I waked up with the sound of my phone buzz. I picked up the phone and got disheartened to know that Shyam was found dead in his room. It was a miserable day, I attended the funeral and returned back home. Next forenoon I got up and walked to the restaurant, the moment I reached there I noticed some crowds around and some police. I ran hurriedly and fetched inside the gallery, I dragged myself from between the space of the crowds and saw Amisha laying on the ground, unconscious. On further inquiry, I was informed that Amisha was found locked in the fridge. We admitted her to the convenient hospital, shortly she recovered and returned back to work. The very first day she came to me and asked about Shyam, she was furious and looked like she was not knowledgeable of his death. I clutched her and informed her that Shyam died a day before she got stuck in the fridge. She got surprised and cried out, "what? How is this possible?"
"Shyam locked me inside the fridge, but how is it logical, if he was already dead?"
Well, I believe it was the exact time to quit the job and run for life!
