The story begins with Cinderella being mistreated by her stepmother and stepsisters. She is forced to stay home while the stepsisters go to the ball. Suddenly the fairy grandmother appears in front of Cinderella and grants her wish to go to the ball. The fairy casts a spell on the prince to make him fall in love with Cinderella. Before parting ways, the fairy warns her that she should be back before the clock strikes twelve.
Keeping the fairy godmother’s advice in mind, Cinderella goes to the ball. The prince falls in love with her at first sight. They dance the night away. Cinderella loses track of time when she is with the prince.
