They drove on for 40 more minutes. The sun was up and shining down on the trees of Evergreens, but already in the North part.
"The ole town of the Norf Evergreenf. Alright, load out!"
Before anyone else, Sabrina and Dequisa stood up and threw their huge backpacks on. They waddled back to the exit.
"Excuse me, k-scuse me, heavy load coming through!"
Behind them went everyone else. Evelina was about to follow, but Cedric pushed her.
"Elders first!" - he laughed at her.
"You're just a year and a quarter older than me, so get back to the hole you went out of!"
Shocked, Cedric fell back, mouth and eyes wide open.
"And," - added Evan - "You have a baby face. When I first saw you, I thought 'Why is a little child going to the city with the most amount of abandoned buildings, punks, scary places...' anyways, see you later, child"
Cedric was even more shocked. He sat there for a long while until he realized that he gotta go out of the bus.
Meanwhile, everyone from the bus went to the luggage compartment. Evelina took out her suitcase with a picture of the South Evergreens, Ducya took the two yellow and white bags and put each bag on each shoulder. Evan took a small black sports bag with a keychain from France, Greece, Rome, South Korea and Canada. Anya grabbed a big cyan-black sports bag and plopped her water bottle in the pocket of it. Tayler took a deep blue backpack for flights. Everyone got surprised that Sabrina and Dequisa took... a purple and an orange, tiny tiny suitcases on wheels. Nobody even said anything.
The company of seven got on the sidewalk and walked towards their new destination.
