Letter From The Dead
#WritcoPoemChallenge
Into the flames rising out of a setting sun,
I draw in a deep breath before I run... This time, not with my leg but eye
l had shut it against my acrophobia

With three hundred and ten more people,
I was peacefully swallowed by a gigantic bird.
So big! its wings larger than an eagle.
She aimed to excrete us on a green bed

Sooner than expected,she got pressed.
Left with no choice than to defecate.
"It was time for my sins be confessed"
I thought as her speed reduced in rate.

Few moments later,the bird fatted.
As if it has mistook kero for water,
carbonmonoxide was what emanated.
Did she got shot by a catapulter?

Mystery went unsolved as I got digested
And got excreted;not in a greener pasture,
But in the land of the dead.
where talents waste beyond measure.

I am writing this in a room six feets below sea level.
Few moments after flying so high;
Thirty five thousand feets above sea level.
God's presence seems nigh.
