Heartbreak December (Chapter 4- Inside the hellhole)
"Something had died that day", Den thought. Something bigger than all of Den's dreams combined. The feeling of being wanted and cherished, he felt unwanted and dirty now that she had mentally slapped him in the brain. This was why and when his addictions had gotten the better of him, he couldn't help but go back home and kill some motherfuckers on Modern Combat 5 and wish that they were real people. He had never hated himself more. Now he had finally understood, why Harry Potter at one point in the Order of the Phoenix couldn't stand his own skin. This story isn't about him, it's about Heartbreak, Heartbreak December. December the month of love, the month of Christ the saviour, the month of Santa Claus, all the apparent fun which appeared in front of him in the form of an ecstasy pill, he couldn't stop laughing for hours at a stretch after having it, happiness was irradiating through each orifice of his being.

The lockdown had changed everything Den thought, it's not the COVID lockdown that he was thinking of, it was a mental lockdown on concepts of softness, gentleness, sensitivity all the subtle qualities of a human being stripped off of his mind, he wanted to hurt someone so badly but he couldn't bring himself to do it, during fights, when his opponent would start to bleed he'd immediately stop hitting that guy to check whether he was okay or not, he couldn't be the bad guy he wanted to be, since it wasn't his identity.

Bisar really didn't understand all of this, for him only Anna was real and also his love and fondness for her had grown, they took English tuition together, at Miss Sylvia Myers' place.

Zach was not troubled by the fact that Den had had his heart broken by the Homecoming Queen as much as he had been worried about him smoking an ounce of cess everyday.

Zach had his heart in the right place inspite of being a pretty traumatized person in the first place, he was a Reddit-Facebook kinda guy he thought about dark stuff but never had the guts to actually try them out, opposed to Den, who was an Onion-Onion kinda guy whose dark thoughts became reality pretty easily since he claimed he could manifest stuff quite easily.

"Leave it bruh, it's in the past, we need to move on to some bigger and better stuff", Zach told him. Den however was not listening, he was busy reading a book called "Knowing Ted Bundy in 90 minutes". Zach sighed, at this rate Den would become nothing more or less than a serial killer or something similar. His nihilism was knocked out of the park by Triny's cold shouldering of him everytime they met.
