The Silhouette
Long ago their was a man who once roamed this land. He is a king from a different realm ages before mankind began. while on earth though he stood and drew the same breath as a mere man. Throughout his conquest he was a healer, teacher, counselor, listener, friend, and a saver to many. In his very bones partiality does not lie - on his lips sing forth only the melody of truth. His appearance often debated because when he would rescue someone he often comes when the sun was position directly behind him. As a result, they called him Silhouette. The works of his hands where numerous. He gave sight to darkness, a working tongue to the speechless, strength into the bones of the crippled...even wisdom to the mindless and air into the lungs of the dead. He taught so many how to love each other deeply. More importantly, he came as a modest reflection to a even greater force...and he taught the people's how to obey and love that source. He love people of all sort...irrelevant to him was the pigment of someone skin. However, in the province and in so many villages the occupancies whispered amongst themselves the appearance of the silhouette. Each race identify him in their pigmentation. So it became a bitter conflicting issue which was creating a lot of resentment and causing division. Indignantly, in secret the silhouette observed - and with pity he was moved to address the matter in an attempt to bring once again unity among to the people's of the land. So in silhouette appearance he once more appeared to the people. Each race would asked: "What race do you identify with, and what's the pigmentation of your skin." To this the silhouette said: "Doesn't my works and my admonitions speak through the insignificant of the colour of my skin. My mission here is way more important than that of colour and gender. That's the reason for my silhouette appearance so as not to cause any distraction from the main gold - which is to educate and bring forth salvation for mankind. Therefore, don't waste time dividing yourselves over the insignificance, rather give attention to my saying and prepare yourselves for life everlasting. Glorify continually the one who sent me and secure each other within your hearts."
To that he vanished.
The lesson is this: love is love and it is impartial and ignorant to colour. Good is good and it is impartial of gender and race. Therefore, don't focus on the outward appearance of those who exhibit such qualities...just embrace it with love and appreciation in return.
