On poetry
Good morning!
I don't feel poetry has anything to do with how good we are at a language ... somehow - if we allow - life will teach us how to become poets ... and then we will be able to arrange even the simplest of words in such a way that it will represent us ...
I feel that is what poetry is - words truthfully representing us and our deepest emotions - nothing else
Knowing a language too well actually gets in the way - because then we are too much aware, too much conscious - about how sentences should be like, what are the rules of grammar - etc ... and poetry is the expression of freedom - not rules and regulations ...
You can talk about your sadness to me if you feel comfortable - sadness is my age old friend - and now I actually start feeling abandoned/lonely - whenever I am not sad ...
Take care.
