dreams
The time had come to start my journey. I leaned out of the window, waving as long as I could while she disappeared into the distance, and my heartbeat was as fast as the train I was in.
It was not the first time I was going away from home alone, but I always had some family in the places I had gone to earlier. Going to a new city and adjusting with new people was never my forte.
As I took my window seat, I started to think how luck I was to have her. She always stood by me like a rock, believed in me more than I believed in myself. Belonging to a small town and being an introvert I was hesitant to take up a job in a metro city but she was very confidante that I'll do good.
As I looked up at the huge office building, I missed her, as I stepped inside the extravagant setup, I felt her pushing me in, but finally when I sat on my desk... I knew I was living her dream. Her dream to see her daughter do what she could not.
