Dear Diary ,
This is my first diary . I will maintain this habit if possible . It's 2050 . World is developed , advanced but not that peaceful . We developed our resources but not our minds . Literally everyone has left the social life , only kids and teenagers like me have some friends that they talk to .
Books have vanished , smart classes with robots are teaching us . There is now a separate book for astronomy , as this era of scientists have succeeded to trace the first signs of life in outer space .
Let me give an introduction to my family . My Dad's name is Brian Copperfield . He is an archeologist and Scientist . He has gone for the search of an element or something that can protect us from extinction .
Oh , I forgot to tell you why . Earth's oxygen level has decreased . In summers , the temperature rises above 51 degrees Celsius . Father told me that in 2020 , there was a virus which killed a billion people . Everyone had worn masks then . But now , we all wear oxygen masks , wherever we are .
This oxygen decrease and temperature increase has given rise to a virus , that is affecting all the beings genetically . This is a factor that can cause our extinction as it is harming us genetically . I hope Dad finds something that can save us . It is a big opportunity for Dad to have his recognition and save us .
Another , interesting thing is that some of us have gone for mutations with computer , so that they can survive . If it turns safe and the surgery cost is affordable , then everyone will do this , but that's a fear of mine .
Oh ! I think my classes will start now .
I will speak of the other things later .
