This happened in my house today morning !
I got up as usual and had my morning tea sitting in the verandah . Since the kitchen door was open my dogs Jerry..a beagle and Jo ..a labra started sniffing things. Jerry is a real sniffer and when he does this we know for sure there is something that has caught his attention. So I began looking but couldn't see anything. They kept runninng from corner to corner . I wondered what was wrong with them when suddenly I saw a snake slithering out of a corner. I shouted out for my son . We were scared that the snake might attack the dogs in self defense and I trembled with fear with the thought of them getting bitten. I ran to call for our house help and after great difficulty the snake was caught.( We stay on the first floor and are surprised as to how the snake managed to reach up. )
I am thankful to God my fur babies are safe and because of their warning and vigilence we are safe too.
