BLOOD (Part 2)
People have so much trust on eyes that whatever they see, they accept it as truth. But that truth is a reality or just an illusion, it's very difficult puzzle.

Now look at this situation, I was the one who called them but these thick-headed police arrested me for murder of Mrs Huber. I was in cell since last night. This place was disgusting and handcuffs were icy-cold. It was first time I got arrested.

Then Inspector Walter showed up. He was the friend who had called me to Germany for help. He said, “I have talked to the authority, they have accepted that you will be free but you will be under supervision of some cop. And you have to go back in cell after 8pm.”

“I am fine with it”, I replied, “Now open these handcuffs.”
He opened them and said, “You should have waited for me. Going to see the killer was a very worst plan.”
“I got to know a very important details last night. I think if I had waited, then surely I have missed it.”
“But still, you could have ended up dead. I wonder you didn't told other cops that answer to the riddle was ‘the Old house’ ?”

I was really mad at this, I quickly said, “I didn't? They were the one who don't believe me. Not gonna lie but seems like German doesn't believe foreigners.”
“Well forget it, go have some breakfast and Paul will be with you.”
“Okay Inspector Walter. See you then.”

German apple pancakes were really good as breakfast. And pomegranate juice filled me back with energy. But two things were bothering me too much, those last words of that blood-sucking killer and that stupid Paul.

I said, “Can you please let me eat peacefully?”
“Nope. I have been asked to keep an eye on you”, he replied with owl-wide eyes.
“But it's not like you can't blink.”
“What if you ran away while I blink?”
“Do whatever you want.”

“Have you thought anything about why that vampire is...”, he said.
“He is not vampire, just a psychopath human.”
“What? But i believe he is a vampire. You tell me how could he went from one corner of city to other. The time at which you sent message and time on CCTV footage of that mall at murder, has only 8 min gap. It's impossible. Unless he ...”
“...He has a partner”, I continued his sentence, “Or maybe he already set trap like that

“Oof you are very boring Steve.”

Later we went to Dr Hannah. She had the reports of autopsy of previous murders. First we went to hospital but she wasn't there. So we had to go to her house. It was a well maintained house. Paul rang the bell and said, “Anyone at the home?”

I heard the footsteps, a faint sneeze and then the door opened. Dr Hannah was wearing a thick clothes. Probably she was ill.
“Oh Mr Lenoir, please come inside”, she said.
Her room was dark. She hadn't open the curtains.

“Forgive me, I didn't cleaned my house today.”
“It's fine Dr Hannah”, I said.
“Yeah we are here for autopsy report”, Paul said. Really he is not only annoying, he doesn't even knows how to behave. Dr Hannah went upstairs and brought those reports.

She went up and I heard something. I accidentally murmured, “18”. “What?”, Paul asked. I had to say, “Nothing.”

When she brought the reports, Paul took them first. I asked, “So anything strange in these murders?”
“Everything is strange in this Mr Lenoir. The two vampire bite like spots on every victim are equally deep. Those two spots are on equal distance. It's seems like they are actually vampire bite.”
“I already expected this.”

“Things doesn't end there. Cause of murder is still not known. Our team checked thrice but it's not because of blood loss or injecting some chemicals. It's like their heart stopped working on it's own. I have no reason to prove that the killer is not a Vampire.”

I smiled and said, “You know, I am not worried about catching him. I am sure I will do that. The thing that's bothering me is if the killer is human or really a Vampire.”
