THE PERFECT DATE
The setting was perfect. Candlelight, polished cutlery and a single rose set in a delicate vase at each table. The soft tune from the retro radio dimmed the conversations. Some red velvet chairs had guests seated and some yearned. In a three piece suit, nicely made hair with confidence on his aquiline nose of a Greek god, he did enter for perhaps a perfect date. Towards the corner table he made his way.The hands ticked, he expected someone- but you know expectations hurt! So it did, the natural shine of his eyes faded, now it was only the reflection of the polished cutlery.

After a sincere sixty of the huge wooden clock, in a gorgeous red gown with rosy lips and cheeks a beauty entered. She walked upto the corner table, the rest of the guests waited for the perfect couple to pair but she took her seat at the table adjacent to his. A silent sigh was in the air and not love. Glanced exchanged, smiles too. Table 20 and 21 experienced something unsaid. Another hour flowed in the river of time, it was when casual conversations began. Their expectations gave way to acceptation. Like a gentleman, he filled the void chair fore her's.

The accompaniment was like the star and the moon, it looked beautiful to that night. Chocolate Paleo Cake, ice cream and coffee made the date sweet and subtle. They laughed at their expectations and phone numbers were exchanged. The date gave a hope of meeting again down the timeline.

At the struck of 10, they splitted the bill and like a forever couple said adieu to each other. The moon shone bright and the stars twinkled! Now love was in the air. Wasn't it a perfect date!
