Too Close For Comfort.
She felt so stupid and let down. Her emotions had once again revealed her vulnerability and left her out there out the emotional cold.
The sudden lack of coldness and lack of response was speaking volumes to Josie embarrassingly so, like a large in her face neon light.
Josie was cursing inside at herself for feeling with such depth and reeling from the need of his attention and for the need of his affection to.
Josie, didn’t know what to do next. As he was now leading her into uncharted waters and she was becoming more lost and extremely emotionally vulnerable with each passing moment, with each thought of him.
Was she to privately ignore him the next day she saw him? Was this one of his tests? She suddenly felt like a frustrated teenager. A feeling that she absolutely hated. As she silently recalled those previous teenager memories with the opposite sex, those more awkward moments of her life, at such an impressionable age.
Was she quitely obsessed by him? Was he her internal and intoxicating crush? Why was she feeling like this, as it was such a horrible sickly feeling that had now chosen to take root in the pit of her stomach.
Neil, had seen and read all the messages, but kept on refused to respond to her, all of a sudden. She needed some logical male insight to why this was happening, but Josie know that she couldn’t say anything as she felt at a least to who to ask. For she was now feeling emotionally robbed of not being able to understand him. Was this a cold one of his cold and wicked tests? Was this what, he was really about? So many questions continued to entered Josie’s brain, without any forthcoming answers.
She was going to have to adopt a new attitude and therefore a new outlook to the situation. God knows how, she was going to do that as she already felt like, she was already to close for comfort where Neil was concerned.
As he was displaying signs of being aloof with her, hence making Josie have a new focus on things. As reluctant as she felt to. Josie’s heart felt so saddened by Neil’s feelings of unspoken rejection.
Hence, her eyes were beginning to slowly respond to her heart’s silent feelings of sadness, second by second.
She realised that she needed to hold back and respond to him, in exactly the same way. As this was his obvious preference, with how he was acting now towards her. So suddenly so cold towards her, without any explanation of any sort.
She knew that the next 24 hours were going to be difficult for her to cope with emotionally, if she did become face to face with him for any reason. She knew that the only way that she would be able to get through the situation, to help manage her feelings better was via other means. She would need to remain internally calm as best as she could.
A step at a time, in her own sweet way.
