Most of the Indians might be knowing about characters of Mahabharat . We know that Pandavas and Kauravas belonged to Kuru clan . Actually Arjun 's descendents were called tomar rajputs and later janjua rajputs which are living in present day Pakistan and Northern India . Today my post is against media ( tv serials ) .
Actually we are aware of reality about Mahabharat . We actually conclude what would have happened at that period about( 3067 BCE ) by watching tv serials . I would tell the reality that yet no any tv serial had been made relating to the real mahabharat took place . actually these days media are spreading wrong information among youth . The tv serials like Suryaputra karna and Mahabharat on starplus has shown karna more mighter than Arjuna . actually all the scenes we have seen in suryaputra karn were actually made to increase their rating but they don't care what is reality mentioned in book mahabharat . We are never taught reality from the book mahabharat actually we interpret that karna could easily defeat Arjuna that's all false. I am not doing partiality , if any reader doesn't believes they could read Karna parva that karna was even defeated by bhima on 16th day later being afraid Karn hided himself .also bheem killed Karna 's son who pretended to secure his father but got killed . his name was banasena . If you don't believe go and search . I am not saying that karna was not mighty warrior but this fact is false that he was more mighty than Arjuna . Arjuna had defeated karna very easily in two wars and Arjuna who was never defeated by anyone . I would tell you about Arjuna's mighty strength and his reality through the epics of mahabharat . I have proof about all facts I am going to mention Arjuna being mighty in all .I know karna suffered a lot in his life . he was called sutputra( son of charioteer ) . He has cheated his own teacher and gained weapons without hardwork . either he was suffering but he had evil mind that he was always jealous of arjun being more mighter than him. first of all my story readers I would like to tell you that please don't interpret the reality of Arjuna through the tv serial suryaputra karn which is 75 percent fake , they introduced about karn being mighty and hero to increase their rating , actually karn was popular only for being able to face arjun , but not able to defeat him . please read the real mahabharat book to know reality don't see suryaputra karn ever .
Arjun vs Karna ( through the book mahabharat )
1) It is mentioned in Udyog parva that when lord Krishna gone for peace talks to stop the battle to be held between Pandavas and Kauravas . there he saw parshuram with some brahman who gone with him to stop the battle. there in the meeting parshuram said that Arjun is that mighty warrior who could never be defeated by anyone leaving Vishnu and Shiva .He said that Arjun is alone capable to defeat the whole warriors alone in the battle .
2) dronacharya's guru dakshina ;;
when Pandavas and Kauravas came back to the palace they fought bravely with each other and there was only one who came to face Arjuna to prove that he isn't best archer . the man who came to prove was karna . Actually Arjuna was having powerful arrows so he shown that . he achieved those arrows by his hardwork . Karna too showed his powerful arrows same as Arjuna and challenged him. actually battle didn't took place because both had powerful arrows which could cause great harm to public .
Later Guru drona ordered his favourite student Arjuna to give him Guru dakshina( gift ) . actually he wanted arjun to defeat Panchal who cheated with drona as he said that he would give him. half territory but he didn't gave . Arjuna requested drona that he should give the chance to Kauravas to defeat Panchal . As arjun requested , he accepted .actually karna joined the battle with kauravas against panchal . Arjun was knowing that karna along with kaurav could never defeat Panchal . Karna and all Kauravas returned with huge loss .
Later Arjuna along with his four brothers was ordered to defeat Panchal by drona. Arjun succeeded in defeating Panchal and his mighty army .about 15000 soldiers were slained alone by arrows of Arjuna. this shows arjun was mighter than karna.
3) Later in Draupadi swayamvar arjuna had crushed karna along with his army with local arrows by using local bow as he haven't gained gandiv .
4) when Pandavas were in exile , Karna tried to tease them and tried to add poison in river but got captured . Chitrasen the gandharva defeated karna . later arjun saved life of duryodhan by defeating chitrasen and.ghandharvas .
5) In virat parva it is mentioned that arjun defeated All including ( bhishma , karna ,duryodhana ,dushyasana , Dronacharya , ashwatthama , Kripacharya and all soldiers.
6) arjun defeated karn easily in several other battles.
7) Karn has been defeated still either having kavach and kundal. the reason why lord Indra snatched his kavach because it was difficult for arjun to kill him , karn could be defeated but could never be slained .
8 ) Bhishma and krishna requested arjun not to use pashupatastra . Arjun promised he would never use divyastra untill lord Krishna not orders.
9) karna fought with divyastra against arjun but Arjun didn't used divyastra untill 15th day against karna.
10) karna used Nagpash against arjun but lord Krishna rescued him on day 17th . Karna fought bravely first time ever against Arjuna . this time arjun had to struggle a lot to crush him but unable to succeed . later as Karna's chariot ' s wheel got pressed deep inside the ground . he forgot his skills that moment . he tried to take out the wheel but unable to do. krishna suddenly ordered arjun to use Anjalika astra to kill him .arjun wasn't doing that . Krishna reminded that how karn killed his son Abhimanyu being unarmed . Thus angered arjun killed karna . later krishna by his shlok said that remember arjun he was the only one able to withstand before to face .
He was the one who never lost hope either knowing arjun has charioteer krishna with him . Karna struggled a lot in his life . he is greatest danvir . hence he concluded that he was as mighty as you arjun and greatest ( mahan ) man to be born on earth .
Conclusion - In battles Karn was brave to face arjun either he never won.
he never lost hope .On the 17th day he fought as like Arjuna .
I would say karna was not as mighty warrior as arjun but greatest danvir and the one who never lose hope and ready to have a battle never depressed about what would be result .
hence both were great warriors of mahabharat .
