As time passed, I found myself reflecting on my past, the days and nights that seemed to blur together. I couldn't help but think about the things I had never thought twice about when I was younger. As I grew older, I started to get into trouble and do things I knew I shouldn't be doing. I stole cars, broke into buildings, and took from others. It weighed heavy on my heart, the pain I caused and the lives I disrupted. But in the midst of it all, I was blessed with a beautiful son. Sadly, our time together was short-lived as his mother and I went our separate ways. To this day, I still don't see or talk to my son, and it's the biggest regret of my life. Looking back, I realize that drugs had a major impact on my decisions and actions. If I could go back in time, I would tell my younger self what a mistake it all was.
