Chapter 14: What's in the Diary?
(Dominic's POV)
After finding the diary of that bitch, Dominic and Chase didn't hesitate to make a speedy retreat from the gloomy mansion. They jump into Dominic's Mercedes and drove away in hurry.
Every thing was blurred till they reach Chase's house since Dominic have to drop him off first before going to his own apartment.
Chase kept shooting worried glances at him all the way. He looks like he wants to say something but seems hesitant to do so. Dominic stop the car and turn his eyes on him.
"What? If you want to say something then say it. You're making fishy faces all the way", Dominic said with a shrug. Chase widen his eyes and give him a conical expression.
"Ugh um are you sure nobody saw us or your car. They can trace your car with the number plate and I don't want you to get in any trouble.
What if your parents find about this then you might be in a huge trouble. They can even ground you for the rest of your life", Chase continue to rant his worries.
But he stops midway when he felt something hit his head lightly. He looks up at Dominic who had hit him with Vanessa's pink sparkling diary.
"Oy stop your rambling it's giving me a headache. And you don't have to worry about my parents even if they find out I doubt they're going to care about the mess.
Besides I'm sure nobody saw so you can chill out. Now go before I throw you out of the car myself", Dominic smirk at Chase.
Chase shot him a thankful smile and scurried out before Dominic decide to act upon his threat. Dominic shook his head and inclined his head slightly when Chase wave at him. "Dude drive back safely", he shout out.
Dominic just nod his head and drove away from Chase's place. He switch on the radio and start humming the song Imagination by Shawn Mendes.
Perfect song to describe his feelings for Lily at this moment. Ace better tell her the truth before he make him do it himself. He finally reach his apartment at midnight.
But sleep is the farthest thing from his mind. He park his car in the underground parking lot where he usually park it.
He pick up the diary from the passenger seat with a grimace look and hide it inside his black jacket. There goes his favourite jacket, now he'll have to send it for cleaning!
'It's for Lily' with this thought in his mind he stalk to the elevators, too tired to take the stairs. To be honest he's not in the mood to cross path with a noisy lady.
She lives right below a floor from him who is rather a strange person. With a ding, elevators open at his floor. He make his way to his door and unlock it.
Dominic hiss out when he hear loud noises of tv from the next door. He march up to their door and bang on it. "Shut the damn noise", he hollered out in frustration.
He click his tongue in distaste and trudge back to his door when the noise finally die down. He walk inside and shut the door before locking it.
He carelessly kick off his boots and make his way to the couch. Dominic sigh out and takes off his jacket and throw it on a chair in the corner.
He then remember the diary was inside it and curse out. He gets up moodily and went back to his jacket. He took out the diary and again pick it up with his index finger and thumb.
He stalk to the couch and collapse on it. He lie down on his stomach and cover himself with a woolen blanket. After making himself comfortable, he opens the diary.
He squint his eyes at the gibberish scribble on the page fill with bubble stickers. He roll his eyes at the messy writting. He turns the page and decide to read the first entry.
/Dear diary,
My daddy buy me a new shining car. I bet everyone will be so jealous but those commoners should be afterall they can never afford such luxury!
Emily and Jenny are so stupid and dumb. They follow me around the campus like a pair of guard dogs. I'm only kipping them with me cause daddy told me it'll be influencial for his business.
He laugh out at the childish entry written by the spoiled rotten bitch which he expected from her. He turns the page and skim through the next one.
It was not that important so he moves on the next one. But the next one caught his eyes. It was the first day of the school after the first period.
/Dear dairy,
Today I saw a super hot guy walking on the campus and he's a newbie! How I can tell cause I know most of the hot guys in the school.
Well I decide to meet him after first period. I even redo my makeup to make a good impression. I want to show off my beauty to him and invite him for a lunch.
The nerve of that jerk! I nicely ask him to join our basketball team and he turned me down! Me! And those annoying bitches with him were laughing!
Laughing at me the queen of the school! They should have try to convince the guy to join the team like good little girls! But no they've the nerve to go against me.
Well it doesn't matter I'll make their lives a living hell for making me a laughing stock in front of the whole school. Just watch you bitch!
