I tell myself I'm doing alright but, that's just a lie
I keep telling everyone I meet and don't want to see eye to eye
The day drags on and I'm up in arms to keep up the fight
Even when the times are bringing with nothings going right

Envy is getting hold of me, it wasn't a friend I adore
No one shares the technique of how to overcome and more
Leaves me coping with myself to cleanup the mess in my head
The universe's goodness is intentionally avoiding me amply said

Rest, restart, re route your life game don't give up
It'll get better if you keep pushing even alittle efforts enough
Been there, done that I ain't seeing any miracles till date
Sure, I might have been blessed with minute ones but, nothing off late

Shouldn't be expecting any breakthroughs this soon
If I get any thrown my way I'll consider it an accidental boon
Get your head out of the clouds and face your reality
It's a broken record to my ears I'm forced to play feeding my sanity

I'll keep searching that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow
If there's any truth in that or maybe a mythical no show
Whatever, may come and happens I have to keep going on
As I can only hope that one fine day to miracles, I'll be blessed with One.
