SCOPE & IMPORTANCE OF FORENSIC SCIENCE

Forensic Science is an important role in the application of physical and natural science which belongs to criminal and civil laws. The term forensic is derived from the Latin word forensis which means public debate or discussion. The forensic science is the application of science and the scientific method to the judicial system. Forensic Science not only includes in prosecution of crimes, laboratories etc but also includes in industrial injuries. Forensic Science is almost same as science because it contributes in solving crime and also in civil harm. Forensic science has no difference in what we study in traditional science but the difference is that it applies on the methods and techniques of the legal sciences.

As it is clear that, the scope of forensic science is very vast in the world especially in India due to the increase in crime rate and criminals. In future, there are endless opportunities in the field because of the unlimited crimes. Forensic Science is a multidisciplinary field that surrounds with Forensic Biology, Forensic Serology, Forensic Chemistry, Forensic Physics, Forensic Psychology etc. for the application of the scientific knowledge in areas such as criminal investigations or legal issues.

In India, the usage of the application of forensic science is rapidly innovated and not begin left so far. Forensic Science takes a part in the society which gives lots of respect in the general public. This means that the forensic science is important to every individual in the society and cannot be vanished off in the future. Advances in science and in particular with forensic science are not only new and fascinating but are constantly improving and being refined. Not only is forensic science a great tool for today, but the future looks bright indeed. An interest in Forensic science may even help the underachiever of today take enough interest in science and related fields of study to turn around and study harder to become the next practitioner of forensic science tomorrow. Forensic science benefits society as a whole in many different ways.
