green skys
In the early hours of the morning, the skies over Arkham turned a sickly shade of green. As the sun rose, the town awoke to a world of chaos and horror. The streets were littered with the bodies of the undead, their rotting flesh and gaping wounds oozing with putrid bile.

What had once been the living, breathing citizens of Arkham were now mindless, ravenous beasts, driven only by an insatiable hunger for human flesh. They stumbled through the streets, their eyes vacant and their arms outstretched, moaning and groaning in a twisted parody of speech.

No one knew how the outbreak had started, but theories ranged from a biological accident at the local university to a curse laid upon the town by some ancient, eldritch force. All that was certain was that the dead had risen, and the living were in grave danger.

As the days passed, the situation in Arkham grew increasingly dire. The town had been completely cut off from the outside world, and the few survivors that remained were forced to band together in order to survive. They fortified their homes and barricaded themselves inside, hoping against hope that the zombies would eventually lose interest and move on.

But the zombies were relentless. They pounded at the doors and windows of the survivors' homes, their moans and groans filling the air with a sickening cacophony of sound. And as time went on, the survivors began to realize that the zombies were not the only threat they faced.

Strange, otherworldly beings began to appear in the streets of Arkham - creatures that seemed to be neither alive nor dead, but something altogether more sinister. They were twisted and malformed, their bodies contorted in ways that defied the laws of nature. And they seemed to be drawn to the zombies, as if feeding off their energy and using them as a means to an end.

It was then that the survivors realized that they were not fighting just a zombie apocalypse, but something far more insidious and terrifying. They were facing an invasion from another dimension, a realm of horror beyond the comprehension of mortal minds.

As the days turned to weeks and the weeks to months, the survivors of Arkham fought on, their minds slowly slipping into madness as they struggled to hold onto their sanity in a world gone mad. And through it all, the eldritch forces that had brought about the apocalypse watched, their inscrutable motives and unfathomable goals hidden from the minds of mortal men.
