Self-Pace&Recovery
Everyone does things at their pace and everyone recovers differently, so why the rush? what's the hurry? Why are you telling me things like "Go to the Doctor" when I know my body better than anyone? Honestly, I don't know, why people do this. It would be cool or might be, if I had the ability to read minds like Jean Grey and Professor X from The X-Men, I don't, I live in the real world and there are no mutants in sight. Because mind-reading doesn't exist, I have no idea why everbody is in hurry and feels the need to rush things. My dad, is a good example of making me rush things, he doesn't understand that I have ADHD and constantly need to move, so he complains saying "your taking to long" Your taking forever" etc. etc. But I going back in forth it helps me concentrate and stay focus, to mention gives peace of mind during performing a tasks, but Noooo, he wants it done now, within seconds, minutes and if need hours. He prefers hour not hours, and mostly doesn't want it to be today or tomorrow and you can forget about week or weeks. Months? Years? Now, according to him your talking crazy, not nonsence, but crazy. Nonsence is it in his vocabulary because it's too nice, political correct you could say. Ridiculous, absurd? sometimes, but be prepared to hear it in such way that will make ball out and cry and if you can not cry, then your eyes will pop from the shock of his voice tones as he says these words and more. There is no reasoning with him, so don't bother or even try, you'll never win it's his way or the highway so get and forget that idea of negotiations, so get it out of your head, I mean it, I am not kidding, their is no fooling around or fighting back with him. Submit, to extreme exhaustion, from hours and hours of working in the hot blazing sun, oh just FYI if you decide to your sweet time go out during the hottest time of the day because you either wanted to sleep in or take your precious time waking-up, making breakfast or brunch or just wanting to a shower from all that night sweat. Nope, he'll complain, saying "your taking forever" or implies that choicing to self-pace and take time to get ready for the day means that working in the hot sun is your own fault! When all you wanted to do is sleep in have relaxation time before going to work outside. I would think that would be normal for anyone. Might be harder or more difficult for other people, but normal none the less. Not for him, for him, it's be ready now and not later. You got maybe only a half hour less before he starts to complain about your self-pace and time.
Then there is the recovery part, like the title of this story. Our body works when it wants to work and doesn't when it doesn't. That just how it is, it the way of nature, evolution or if you believe in creation then thats how god made us. So when the body isn't working probably then want to recover and it fight it off whatever it maybe to ensure that that happens. Now, you may be to fully to where you once were before or it may take lots of time and help to be fully recover other times it's just sleep, rest, pace-yourself no moving around, no physical activities, reduce stress level etc. etc. There are so many things we can do our own without getting or without recieving help and just maybe that you can't afford it. Like here in the U.S we don't Single Prayer HealthCare or Universal HealthCare, we have public and private insurance or unsured thats it. With Private Insurance, you have co-pay and deductibles meaning you a certain price before insurance kicks-in and then pay the parts that insurance didn't pay for. This is why so many people in this country go into bankruptcy or wait until the last possible moment before going to see a doctor and at that point recovery may not be possible no matter how hard you try or everybody trying take care of you. Whatever the case may be your needs to recover. But like I said before, it takes time, and in order to recover you need to self-pace yourself or you'll only make it worse. But that can be hard, maybe extremely hard, possible difficult or even extremely to near impossible or just impossible(you get the idea) given the circumstances and with everyone around you nagging, complain, being judgemental or critical because your taking long then your gonna like a burden to others, yourself esteem will become low, feelings hurt because you feel everyone around you is forcing you to go in to get help and maybe even get prescribe medicine to speed up the recovery. The medicine may work it may not or it could make it worse. There are lots of reasons for that, wrong diagnoses, an allergic reaction, or it's just it's not working on your body. Medicination doesn't always work for everybody because everybody is different and there is also the fact that your builds up ant-bodies that made you resistant to certain medicination or it's the dosage wasn't high enough or too high. Either way, it should be your, my choice, it's your&my body, we know our body like the back of our head, probably not right phrase for describing that, but you get the idea. Yet, everyone around us is in hurry, everyone around wants us to get better fast! In the beginning they'll help you or they won't believe and think that your overreacting until the pain is too great that they have no choice to believe you. Then, after awhile they'll stop helping you saying that is been weeks should be better now, the doctor said your fine and fully recovered therefore you don't need my help anymore, you know your body isn't 100% yet, but their in rush, they don't want you taking forever and if do take forever to recover then they might leave you because they cannot handle it anymore. Scary stuff, but what people don't understand is I didn't ask for my body to get sick and be in this condition, but is, so please let me heal and recover on my own time and not on your time.
