There can be beautiful days when the sun twinkles wicked warmth and cheer, such as today. Yet, I'm at the imtrat hospital with my mother and sister. And it's not just us. There are many others who came for their medical check ups. My mother sat me down on a shadowed spot; as she feared I would get my seizures if I dawdled in the sun. Everyone including my mother and sister sat tight in queue. Just then, I overheard bustles and whispers. To my surprise, a man had undergone an epileptic seizure and had passed out. My mother asked the people for help. However, "won't we catch his sickness?" was their very reaction. My mother spoke up that it was not contagious. Still, nobody was willing to step up. Soon, a doctor showed up and he clarified that nothing would happen on helping the man. Then he was taken to the Jigme Dorji wangchuk National Referral hospital. The sightless fact speculated by the people that his ailment could be catchy; disillusioned me in many inexpressible ways. On such a lovely afternoon, I was immersed in thoughts. I felt sorry as I couldn't be of any help to someone who'd a tough day. Since then, I think back of that blue day . "What if we were in his place?" We'd be flustered and wounded at the same time. Learning that at times, #mankind is stone-blind is #heartbreaking.
