“Isn’t this exciting?” My best friend’s excited eyes flit around the dazzling stores on the main street.
“I suppose so.”
My unenthusiastic reply had her turning to me with a frown. “What’s the matter? Aren’t you happy to be out shopping after so many months?”
I shook my head feeling miserable. I could feel the panic rise up so I pretended to search my pockets for my sanitizer. When I found it I poured it liberally over my hands and rubbed them together.
