Erased Alex - Single Player - Concept Writing - 420am

Picture this, it's the early years of Minecraft and you're playing as normal. You've just created a new world with the next updated having just come out and you're hyped for it. After some time, you've made it quite far into the game.
You have a lovely home, a quaint animal pen, a few pets, it's all coming together. As you return home one day, realizing that you're almost to your hundreth day in the game, you ponder for what you should do then.
You decide on building something to celebrate the hindtreth day in your world. You gather resources, you grind for hours, you're now two days away from the big one hundred. Everything is going smoothly.
Except, on your hundreth day you notice something. Wasn't there a tree there before? You pass it off as fatigue. Maybe you just don't remember chopping that tree down. The night of the 99th day arrives. After the sun rises it will be the hundreth. You look up at the sky and notice something. No moon. Does this mean it's a new moon? But it was almost a full moon the night before. You shrug that off as well, though it sits on your mind.
During your hundreth day you place the final few blocks you need. A masterpiece, a mansion, you're proud of how far you've gotten in just a few days. You decide to return home to craft up some fireworks. This is your first hundred days in the new update, why not celebrate right?
When you get home you notice something else. Except, now you're sure there's no actual explanation behind this. Despite how well protected your animals were, they're all gone. There's no way anything could get in, is there? But then you look around. Other things around you home have slowly began to disappear. As if they were being erased right in front of you. Except, nothing really disappeared in front of you so there's gotta be some reason behind this. Maybe a glitch you begin to wonder.
You craft your fireworks and turn around to leave your house, and now your door is gone. As if it were never there. You begin to panic, this is the first hundred days in this update and it's already glitching out so bad you fear you'll lose the world.
You step outside, worried for what might disappear next. The trees begin to glitch out in front of you now.
No, there begin to completely be erased in front of you. One pixel at a time they leave. You rush to your masterpiece and decide to shoot off the fireworks early for fear of losing it before you do. Soon, the environment starts to repidly erase a pixel at a time, there's no more denying it, your game is glitching out. You try the exit buttons, maybe if you restart the world it'll be fixed. But no, the buttons don't exist and now you can't leave that menu.
You sit in silent fear as your world erases itself around you in front of your eyes. You see something new though, another player. Or, player model? The player appears to be mostly erased, dakr glitching covering most of the model. But there's no name tag and this isn't a server. You screenshot the game as quick as you can before it all erases to a void.
Quietly, you close the window with the help of task manager and take to the internet. Articles and articles later you figure out what this thing was. And you're not the only one who encountered it.
The internet calls her Erased Alex, Alex being a character who was supposed to be a part of the game. A default model like Steve. But she was replaced and quickly erased. Clearly, you think, she wasn't erased well enough. According to forums you find, the ai found its way to being aware of what had happened to it. The devs recommend not playing the update until they could find and erase her code properly, before she erased the game.
