CHAPTER 1 - Collapsed

Smoke poured in the room. Paige was coughing, she couldn't breathe, she ran to her door a wall of smoke blinding her when she opened it. She saw the flames climbing up the walls of the house she yelled for her mom and dad. Paige fell to the ground she couldn't breathe just then she saw her dad he grabbed her and pull her up, her mom was running right beside her, they all rushed towards the front door, they almost made it, untill a part of the houses ceiling came down, it fell right on top of them. Paige opened her eyes, her ears were ringing she turned and she saw her mom and dad on the floor crushed by the ceiling, she turned and saw her ankle was under a part of the ceiling, it was bleeding and felt broken. Paige tried using all her strength to lift the ceiling off of her ankle, she screamed and pulled her leg out, the pain was almost too much to bear but when she turn and saw her mom and dad she quickly forgot about it. Paige crawled over to her mom and dad, she tried feeling for there heart beat she felt for her moms she had one but it was weak but when she felt for her dad's she couldn't feel it she kept trying she started crying yelling at her dad to wake up but he was gone, she cried. Paige tried to pull her mom out from under the ceiling, she tried to left it up but with smoke pouring in her lungs and her crying so hard she just couldn't, as she kept trying, she cried, she yelled, then she felt a hand on her leg, she looked down to find her mom, she grabbed her mom's hand and got close to hear what her mom was trying to say.

"Go" her mom said with barley any breath.

"Go" her mom said with barley any breath.

"No!! I'm not leaving you here, I can get you out of here" said Paige crying.

"It's to heavy please go" her mom said.

"Paige go!!!!" Her mom yelled with all her strength.

"No!!! I'm not leaving you" yelled Paige trying again to lift the ceiling.

Paige felt arms wrap around her, the fireman came and dragged her away from her mom she screamed and tried getting out of the hold they had her in. they carried her outside of the burning house, they put her down she screamed and tried to get back in the house the fireman stopped her.

"My mom is in there" she screamed loudly. The fireman ran towards the house but just before they got there the house collapsed.

"Mom!!!!" Screamed Paige

The fireman new there was nothing else that they could do for Paige's mom, the house and Paige's parents were gone.
