I (Ratul) traded Chanachur in the airport area for six months and finally arrested Pawan Barua, the main leader of the extremists in the north-east of India, from the Diabari slum in Uttara.

In the evening, I knocked on his door in Diabari slum and called. After opening the house, I entered the house and said, "What is your name?"

Pawan: - Ratan Haldar.

I: - This is your fake name. Your actual name is Pawan Barua. Isn't it?

- Who are you?

- I am a CBI officer. I entered Bangladesh from India after chasing you ten years ago today. Because of you, for ten years I have had to work sometimes as a worker and sometimes in a garment factory.

- The government of India pays you to do your duty. And there is a lot to do because of duty. Even when I was in government service, I did my duty properly.

- Why are you an extremist even after doing your duty properly?

Then Pawan Barua said, "I used to work in the oil mining office in Jorhat, Assam. After graduating from Assam University, I joined that employment and did my duty properly.

One day a man came to me and said, "This boy, you are enslaving yourself in your own mine. Aren't you ashamed?"

I: - I am working in the government. And I'm getting paid for serving the government and the people in the oil mines. All right, I'm a tax-paid servant of the people. But the oil mine is not mine.

- You're a fool. We are Assamese. All these properties are ours. Why should we enslave Gujarat, Delhi or others?

That is to say, he tempted me to form a new country with only Assamese and rule the country on his own. I was also attracted to their temptation and became involved in extremism.

I once went to Tinsukhia with that man on an eight-day vacation. I participated in their weapons exercise in there for six days. Seeing their exercise, I considered myself an irresistible force in the north-east of India.

I returned from Tinsukhia and went home for two days. A month after returning to work, a senior director from Delhi came to our office. But the day before he arrived, an extremist had left the bottle in our office after drinking Bengali wine. And the extremists turned the office into a Bengali wine den by telling us about Assamese nationality.

But the senior director found the bottle of Bengali wine and threatened us. That's why another extremist in our office attacked the director with a knife and injured him.

This is why we ran away from the office. Later a police warrant was issued against us. The case was later handed over to the CBI regional office. And so you chased us, and some of our extremists fled to China, and some to Bangladesh. You chased us for the next ten years and now you have arrested me. "

I (Ratul) said, "I heard that you entered Bangladesh with a lot of money from Assam. What have you done?"

On hearing this, Pawan Barua lamented, "I hid a total of rs. 6 crore in a coal truck. I brought them to Gulshan in Dhaka. The plan was to buy a house in Gulshan with that money and live in Gulshan and manage extremism in Assam. So buying a house is one thing." When he contacted the broker, he took him to Mofiz, a bigger broker. He was one of the foremost brokers in Gulshan - again known as Mofiz Bhai. I bought tk. 8 crore for rs. 6 crore through that Mofiz Bhai said," If you invest this money in my real estate business, you can own a few houses in Gulshan, Banani and Uttara. "I told Mofiz Bhai to keep some witnesses of the transaction. Then he said, 'You have entered Bangladesh from India. If you witness the transaction, you will be in danger. "

Saying this, Mofiz Bhai took the money - but did not return the money or the house. Meanwhile, it was difficult to pay for our expenses.

When I told Mofiz bhai about the problem, he said, "There is no reason to be tense about it. You do drug business in the airport area. Then you will get the money for the expenses, you will get the money to buy more houses." Then some of us went to Gazipur, Bhaluka and I moved to this slum in Diabari.

Once the yaba tablets were finished, I to Mofiz bhai and he said, "You don't have to come to me for tablets anymore. Instead, I am giving you the raw material for making yaba. You can make and sell yaba tablets as you wish." Saying this, he handed me a bag and took from tk. 8 crore to tk. 7 crore given to him as the value of the raw material kept in that bag. Asked why he had taken so much money, he said, "With that raw material, it will be possible to make yaba worth tk. 50 crore. So I have taken tk. 7 crore."

I came to Diabari with the bag. The next day, the search of RAB, CID and DB police started in Diabari. I also quickly filled the packet of raw materials inside the hard plastic and lifted the toilet cover of the slum and hid it inside the toilet tank.

RAB, CID and DB police officers did not go there anymore due to the stench of slum toilets. To this day the packet of raw materials is inside the toilet tank.

But not being able to do yaba or drug business, I have been driving rickshaws in Uttara for several years. "

I said, "Don't you want to go back to India ?"

Pawan: - I always want to return to India. But I have no visa - no passport. And I'm an intruder.

I: - Will I go back if I arrange for you to return to India?

Wind: - Of course.

I: - For this you have to be caught by the police or RAB of Bangladesh. But not with drugs, but with weapons. What weapons do you have?

Pawan: - Two pistols and a satellite phone. I brought them with me when I came from Assam.

I: - Where are that's now?

Hearing this, Pawan came out of the house with his pet monkey. I came out too. Then wind the monkey

At the signal, the monkey jumped into a tall tree next to the house and came down from a bird's nest with a bag. Pawan said, "It is the home of the Bhuban Chill. I bought this pet monkey from a man in the Bormi bazar in Gazipur. I later hid the satellite phone, two pistols and fifty bullets in the Bhuban Chill's nest in the trunk of that tall tree."

I said, "With these you will surrender to the Uttara RAB-1 camp. Then you will be arrested as a political accused in India and handed over to the police station. Later you will be kept in jail for a few years and returned to India."

Pawan, "What if the cross fires?"

I was a little annoyed and said, "The RAB is not so stupid as to crossfire on an Indian citizen. But I have to promise that you will go back to Assam and renounce extremism and call for democratic politics." Pawan agreed with me.

I pointed to the monkey and said, "And you will deposit this monkey at the Mirpur Zoo first. If you release it like this, the monkey will die without eating."

Then I said, "What kind of raw material is in the drug packet?"

Pawan said, "Mofiz bhai just said, 'Raw materials imported from Germany.' He didn't say more than that."

I said, "I'll see what kind of material it is ?"

Then Pawan brought a pair of hard plastic gloves and five liters of kerosene from inside the room. He poured kerosene inside the toilet tank of the slum. And the stench stopped immediately. Pawan picked up the hard plastic...
