They often say love all but trust none, be in love but don't fall in love, don't just always follow your heart because it can be deceived. These are the thoughts going through Lila's mind after the poor girl had looked herself in her room and refused to eat for several days.
Just a day before, she was the happiest in the world. It was her wedding day and she was jovial and excited. Her parents had adviced her against rushing to marry someone she has barely known. However, she refused on the bases that she is following her heart just like girls in love will always say.
Her friends where all with her on her big day. She got dressed in the most beautiful sarri ever and left for the alter where her fiance was going to meet her. She got there before Jude (her fiance). Devastatingly, she waited for two hours and Jude did not show up. And of course the the priest got tired of waiting and the marriage was cancelled.
Her little world fell apart. she was traumatized and could not say a word. She just ran to the house and into her room. She could not forgive herself for not listening to her parents. After crying and crying for several days, her mother succeeds in consoling her to open the door.
